PCEX 412 now available for Zone 21 (category II 2D)The PCEX 412 is approved for both gas and dust explosion protection. The panel PC is consequently now accessible to a very broad spectrum of uses.
This combination of an operator panel and a powerful, integrated PC opens up a host of potential applications. The panel PC provides an ideal platform, for instance, for control and display panels with the visualization system of your choice, for soft PLC systems, for client-server applications with a SCADA system or for browser based terminals. The PCEX 412 panel PC is designed for use in hazardous areas in accordance with categories II 2G (Zones 1+2) and II 3D (Zones 21+22). These zones differentiate between air-gas mixtures (Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2) and air-dust mixtures (Zone 20, Zone 21, Zone 22). They are classified as follows: Gas Dust Zone 0 Zone 20 Danger is present always, for a long time or frequently Zone 1 Zone 21 Danger is occasionally present Zone 2 Zone 22 Danger is seldom present |
